Effective August 2, 2026
FieldPics is designed to keep your work media private. The app does not require a FieldPics account, show advertising, sell personal information, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.
Information FieldPics handles
When you choose media to import, FieldPics handles the photos or videos you select and available metadata such as filename, capture date, dimensions, media type, GPS coordinates, altitude, camera and lens details, and a file checksum. You can also add or edit organizational details inside the app.
How your information is used
This information is used only to provide app features: preserving and organizing media, displaying details, placing GPS-tagged items on a map, identifying duplicates, sharing items when you request it, syncing your private library, and helping you manage storage.
Photos and location
FieldPics accesses only the media you select through Apple’s photo picker or otherwise authorize. Location coordinates are read from imported media metadata or entered by you. FieldPics does not continuously track your device location.
iCloud storage
FieldPics uses Apple CloudKit to sync app records and media through your iCloud account. This data is stored in your private iCloud database and is governed by your agreement with Apple and Apple’s privacy practices. FieldPics does not operate a separate server that receives your photo library.
Sharing and deletion
FieldPics shares media only when you initiate a share action using the iOS share sheet. When you delete an item inside FieldPics, it may remain recoverable in the app for 30 days before permanent deletion. Removing a source item from Apple Photos is a separate action that requires system confirmation and is subject to Apple Photos’ Recently Deleted behavior.
Third parties, analytics, and advertising
FieldPics does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not sell or rent personal data. The current app does not use third-party analytics or cross-app tracking.
Children’s privacy
FieldPics is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.
